1. Copyright in the pictures remains with the original photographer until 70 years after their death.
2. Pictures may only be used for private purposes unless specific permission has been obtained from the copyright owner.
3. In order to preserve quality many of the pictures are at quite a high resolution, with file sizes ranging from about 500 Kb to 1 Mb. A high speed Internet connection is recommended, for example Broadband or Cable.
4. Some of the photographs are rather poor quality, but have been included for their interest.
5. Downloaded photographs can be printed just like any other digital photograph. Copy to a CD or memory card and take to any High Street processor.
